Best-time charts are averages of other people’s audiences. They are useful as a starting point and misleading as a strategy.
Start with the generic window
- X: weekday mornings, plus a second peak in the early evening.
- LinkedIn: Tuesday to Thursday, before the workday starts.
- Instagram: late afternoon and evening, when browsing peaks.
- TikTok and YouTube Shorts: evenings and weekends.
Then narrow it with your own data
After two weeks of publishing, sort your posts by engagement rate and look at the publishing time of the top quartile. That is your real window, and it usually differs per network.
Automate the boring part
Once the window is known, scheduling should be automatic. The studio reserves the slot when it creates the draft, so nobody has to remember it.
